Odi Hospital eye clinic
was known for having one big room with no consulting units which limited the
eye care service offered by the clinic as optometrists and nurses didn’t have
consulting rooms but that changed as One Sight Foundation together with the MEC of Gauteng, Nomantu
Nkomo-Ralehoko donated to renovate the clinic.

In a landmark speech, the MEC of Health and Wellness Nomantu highlighted how she had eye problems and
she used to be poured with different kinds of liquids which she hopes it will
not happen to any child as the clinic is fully functioning now.
Citizens should expect
fast services, a spacious reception area for them, a child-friendly area for the children and readily made spectacles
if needed. This will be beneficial for Mabopane community members and other neighboring areas. One community member expressed her feelings on facebook and wrote “At
least we won’t have to take double taxis to Dr. George Mukhari”.

become part of the clinic.
